About our Generator alternative hybrid solar

Solar hybrid systems can provide a reliable and practical alternative to a diesel generator for homes, apartment buildings, offices, commercial facilities, resorts, institutions, and other establishments affected by frequent load shedding. Instead of burning fuel to produce backup electricity, the system combines solar panels, a hybrid inverter, and battery storage to supply power when grid electricity is unavailable.

During the daytime, solar panels generate electricity to charge batteries. Any surplus energy may be exported to the grid via net metering, subject to approval and utility regulations. During load shedding or grid failure, the hybrid inverter automatically uses available solar power and stored battery energy to continue supplying the selected loads.

Unlike a diesel generator, a solar hybrid system does not require continuous fuel purchase, routine engine servicing, or manual refuelling. It also operates without engine noise, exhaust fumes, and local emissions. Over time, this can significantly reduce the recurring cost and inconvenience associated with conventional generator-based backup power.

The system can be designed to support lights, fans, refrigerators, computers, communication equipment, water pumps, lifts, air conditioners, and other electrical loads depending on the required capacity. For larger installations, essential and non-essential loads may be separated to achieve a more economical and reliable backup arrangement.

Battery capacity is selected according to the required backup duration and expected load during power outages. Where uninterrupted operation is critical or prolonged outages are common, the system can also be designed with grid and generator compatibility, allowing a generator to remain as an emergency backup rather than the primary source of backup power.
