About our Building integrated water treatment

Building integrated drinking water treatment is a centralised solution designed to ensure safe and high-quality drinking water for every unit in a building. The system treats water at a central point and supplies it through a dedicated drinking water pipeline, separate from general utility water lines.

A key feature of this system is the provision of a separate drinking water faucet in every apartment. This dedicated tap delivers treated, purified water specifically intended for direct consumption and cooking purposes. By separating drinking water from general water usage, the system ensures higher hygiene standards and consistent water quality at the point of use.

Water from underground sources, municipal supply, or other sources may contain impurities such as sediment, iron, hardness, salinity, odour, microorganisms, and dissolved contaminants. A building-integrated drinking water system is designed to address these issues through a combination of treatment processes such as sediment filtration, activated carbon filtration, reverse osmosis, mineral balancing, and ultraviolet disinfection, depending on the raw water quality.

This type of system is ideal for apartment buildings, gated communities, offices, hotels, hospitals, educational institutions, and commercial complexes. Instead of installing individual purifiers in each unit, a centralised system ensures uniform water quality and reduces maintenance complexity.

However, every building has different water quality conditions, occupancy levels, space availability, and plumbing layouts. A detailed site survey and water analysis are required before designing the system. This ensures that the treatment stages, system capacity, and distribution network are properly matched to actual requirements.
